Powerflasher FDT 4 is the latest version of the well-known development environment for flash-programmers . Allows us to develop a flash in the "programmer" style, but not in the "designer" as the Adobe Flash CS. The closest competitor - Adobe Flash Builder. In contrast, the FDT does not permit to develop a Flex component in a visual manner, pushing the handles. But many things, like checking the same code, it makes it much better. Also in the near future FDT will support the development of the language haxe (www.haxe.org). In general, it is the environment is very, very deserving of attention of anyone who writes or intends to write to flash. Especially those who do not use and is not going to use Flex (Flex to work with preferred Adobe Flash Builder)
